Body Casting - with Plaster

Last year i dabbled a little in Body Casting... I want to do more too... this is a cast of my declotage...

Paper mache Shpongle mask

Back in 2008, I started to make this paper mache mask because we were going to see shpongle in October that year and also to Boom Festival... And I cannot get enough of costumes...

Funnily enough, on the way out of the concert, this man asked me about my mask, then proceeded to tell me he is the guy who originally designed the digital image of the famous shpongle mask... he was impressed !

Photo wall

A little bit of interior designing... our family history photo wall!

Day Bed

My first ever carpentry project - I made this outdoor daybed! First i painted all the wood (which took ages), then i followed these directions and hey valla... making another and a coffee table too...

Make Up/Costume - Flower Power!

For Purim this year i went 'Flower Power'... really just wanted to use my glitter pods that i got in Bangkok last year... and then continued the look with felt petals and fake lashes...

Chicken Coop

Ok, so this was actually built by my brother & my dad, but i made the door and put the cage on (with the help of my husband, Arnon). Our 2 hens are very happy inside, and we are happily waiting for eggs :)

Kid's Art

I was inspired from an artist on Nechlahat Binyamin (Tel Aviv's craft market) and made these pictures - 1 for Saraya (which she loves) and the other as a gift for the birth of my friend's baby boy - including a felt toy crocodile!

Bamba Costume!

Saraya's second costume for Purim was a packet of Bamba (Israeli national snack). Made from fleece & felt with sewing & gluing.
Warning - May contain cuteness!

Baby Pirate Costume!

For Purim this year I made a cute little pirate costume for my 2.5 month old baby - hat from felt, and i sewed a little black vest & pants. This was my first ever real sewing project.... the pants we too small and split at the seams by the end of the day.. but she looked so cute!
